Bonnell Aluminum, a subsidiary of Tredegar Corporation, today announced that Brook Hamilton, President of Bonnell Aluminum (“Bonnell”), will retire in July 2026 after more than two decades of leadership and service. The company also announced that Carl Czarnik has been promoted to Senior Vice President and General Manager of Bonnell, effective June 15, 2026.
Mr. Hamilton has led Bonnell since 2013, following a career with the company that began in 2005. Over the course of his tenure, he played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s strategy, strengthening its culture, and building lasting customer relationships, helping position Bonnell as a respected leader in the U.S. aluminum industry.
Mr. Czarnik, who joined Bonnell in 2019 as Vice President of Operations, brings extensive operational and leadership experience to his new role. As Senior Vice President and General Manager, he will be responsible for Bonnell’s profit and loss performance, operational execution, and strategic direction. Prior to joining Bonnell, he served as Vice President of Operations at Gerdau Long Steel and Vice President of Human Resources for Gerdau North America. Mr. Czarnik served in the U.S. military from 1987 to 1994, including active duty during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, and was honorably discharged as a Captain after earning the Army Commendation Medal for his distinguished service.
