IGS 2026 to Shape Discussions on the Next Phase of the Citizenship Industry

BASSETERRE, KN / ACCESS Newswire / June 10, 2026 / St. Kitts and Nevis is preparing to host a global conversation on the future of investment migration as industry leaders, government officials, investors, and stakeholders gather for the Investment Gateway Summit (IGS) 2026 from June 17 to 20.

The summit comes at a pivotal moment for the citizenship industry. As program worldwide face increasing scrutiny and evolving international expectations, governments and industry stakeholders are placing greater emphasis on transparency, due diligence, compliance, and long-term sustainability. Against this backdrop, IGS 2026 is expected to provide a platform for discussions on how the industry can adapt to a changing global landscape while maintaining credibility and investor confidence.

Hosted by the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis and the Citizenship Unit, the four-day summit will feature panel discussions, one-on-one meetings, keynote addresses, and industry-focused conversations designed to explore the future of economic citizenship and investment migration.

A key theme throughout the event will be the evolution of citizenship programs from mobility-focused offerings into broader tools that support wealth planning, business expansion, family security, and long-term global opportunities. Industry experts and policymakers are expected to examine the changing expectations of investors and the role that governance, compliance, and innovation will play in the years ahead.

As the world’s longest-running Citizenship Program, St. Kitts and Nevis will use the summit to showcase the reforms that have transformed its program in recent years. These include the launch of the Saturn digital platform, the establishment of the Office of the Chairman, and the introduction of mandatory biometric enrolment as part of a wider effort to strengthen operational efficiency, security, and transparency.

The summit will also provide an opportunity for delegates to assess how these reforms have contributed to the program’s credibility and international standing at a time when accountability and trust have become central priorities across the industry.

Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew said the country’s approach remains rooted in sustainable development and nation-building. “Our journey is one of resilience, progress and purposeful nation building,” he said.

This vision is reflected in the program’s Sustainable Island State Contribution, which supports national development initiatives aimed at strengthening economic resilience, sustainability, and long-term growth. Discussions during the summit are expected to explore how citizenship programs can contribute not only to investor objectives but also to meaningful development outcomes for host nations.

One of the practical highlights of the event will be the availability of complimentary biometric enrolment services for eligible participants who have not yet completed the process. Offered under the National Biometric Enrolment and Passport Modernisation Program, the initiative reflects the Federation’s commitment to modernising its citizenship program and improving accessibility for stakeholders.

Over four days, IGS 2026 will bring together citizens, investors, authorised agents, entrepreneurs, government representatives, and industry experts from major markets including the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Through a combination of discussions, networking opportunities, and strategic engagement sessions, participants will have the opportunity to exchange perspectives on the future direction of the industry and the challenges and opportunities shaping its next chapter.

The summit’s agenda is built around three pillars, Connect, Collaborate, and Celebrate, while maintaining a strong focus on the issues that are increasingly defining the future of investment migration. Confirmed speakers include Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew, Calvin St. Juste, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship Unit, government ministers, and international industry voices.
