Cherry Creek Presbyterian offers weeklong programming for VBS in Englewood CO

Englewood, United States – June 25, 2026 / Cherry Creek Presbyterian /

ENGLEWOOD, CO – Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church will host its Vacation Bible School, themed “Trust Jesus in a Wild World,” June 29 through July 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its Denver Tech Center campus, 10150 E. Belleview Ave. The weeklong program is open to kids age 3 through 5th grade and costs $100 per child for the week.

Throughout the week, kids will rotate through Bible time, crafts, music, games, and outdoor activities with a team of volunteer leaders. Families are asked to send each child with a lunch, snack, water bottle, and sunscreen each day.

Cherry Creek Presbyterian is also looking for volunteer leaders to help run the week, with leader hours from 8:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. each day. Children of volunteers attend free, and youth and assistant leaders must be entering 7th grade or older.

“Every summer, VBS gives our kids a week to dig into what it really means to trust Jesus, even when life feels a little wild, and it’s one of the best weeks of the year for our whole kids ministry,” said Lorina Monks, Kids Director at Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church.

VBS week leads into a special Sunday, July 5, when kids will sing songs they learned during the week as part of the 10 a.m. service, followed by an all-church picnic with food, a water slide, and family-friendly fun. Registration for VBS and leader spots is open now at cherrycreekpres.org/vbs.
