WorkHold Launches Maxworker.ai – AI Coworker for Slack That Gives Teams Finished Work

Maxworker.ai ships with two core routines at launch, task delegation with built-in escalation, and an automated morning briefing, both built around a fixed price, no surprise pricing model.

SYDNEY CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT, AU / ACCESS Newswire / July 9, 2026 / WorkHold.ai today launched Maxworker.ai, an AI coworker that lives inside Slack and handles the operational work teams are currently running manually. Unlike AI assistants that generate drafts requiring significant human effort to complete, Max connects to the tools a team already uses, gathers the relevant context autonomously, and returns finished outputs, with sources attached and human approval required before anything is sent, updated, or published.

Max launches with two core routines: Delegation and Morning Brief, with native integrations across CRM, email, and project management tools, and new connectors shipping weekly.

The Problem Maxworker.ai Solves

Most knowledge-work teams carry a persistent backlog of operational work that is necessary, time-consuming, and mechanical: reminders that need follow-through, status checks that fall through the cracks, the daily ritual of piecing together what actually needs attention from six different tools before the day can start.

This work exists across multiple tools simultaneously, the task in a Slack thread, the deadline in someone’s head, the follow-through nowhere at all, and making sure it actually happens requires someone to track it manually, every time.

AI tools have addressed parts of this problem by accelerating the writing step. Max addresses the whole problem: it remembers what was asked, follows up automatically, escalates when something is at risk of slipping, and reports back when it is done.

“The difference between a tool that helps you start work faster and a coworker that gets the work done is not a subtle one,” said Max Gerasichev, CEO and co-founder of Maxworker.ai. “We built Maxworker.ai because the gap between AI-generated starting points and finished, usable work was still being closed by humans. That gap is what Max closes.”

How Maxworker.ai Works at Launch

Max ships with two routines that cover the most common operational gaps inside any team using Slack.

Delegation

A user writes a request in natural language, either in a DM with Max or by mentioning @Max in a thread: “Remind @Sarah to send the brief by Thursday 5:00 PM. If it’s not there by 3:00 PM, ping me.”

Max returns a confirmation card showing the assignee, the task, the deadline, and the escalation condition, with Start and Edit options. Once confirmed, Max handles the rest: it pings the assignee at the right moment, tracks the status, escalates to the requester if the condition is triggered, and reports back automatically once the task is complete.

The requester never has to remember to follow up. Max remembers for them.

Morning Brief

A user configures a time, timezone, weekdays, and which information blocks to include, tasks, emails, pipeline, focus time, and connects their tools once through OAuth.

Every morning at the configured time, Max compiles a single brief from all connected sources and delivers it directly in Slack. No request required. The user opens Slack and the day’s context is already waiting.

Both routines reflect the same design principle: Max prepares and acts within agreed boundaries, and a person stays in control of what was asked for and what gets escalated.

Fixed Price, No Surprise

Maxworker.ai launches with a Fixed Price, No Surprise pricing model, a deliberate departure from the usage-based and credit-metered pricing common across the AI tooling market. Teams know what they will pay before they start, with no token counting, no usage anxiety, and no unexpected overage at the end of the month.

“Most AI products price like infrastructure and expect teams to behave like enterprises managing cloud spend,” said Vlad Nikitin, CMO and co-founder at Maxworker.ai. “We didn’t think that made sense for a coworker. You don’t get a variable bill from a teammate based on how many questions you asked them this week.”

Maxworker.ai is available now at maxworker.ai. The Delegation and Morning Brief routines are live at launch, with additional routines and integrations shipping on a weekly basis.
