The newest location in Mesa is situated at Medina Station (1361 South Signal Butte Road). The shop will celebrate its official Grand Opening on Thursday, August 13, starting at 10:00 a.m. The festivities will treat the first 100 guests in line to a sweet surprise, including Free Ice Cream for a Year, Free Pint Per Month for a Year, Family Sundae Pack, $50 Gift Cards, and $25 Gift Cards.
The new location is owned and operated by Terry and Jennifer Keenen, with Vanessa Dodds serving as Operating Partner. Terry and Jennifer are California natives who raised their family in Arizona, where Terry spent 25 years as a contractor before transitioning into entrepreneurship. After trying Handel’s in California, they knew they had found the perfect fit and now proudly own multiple Handel’s locations throughout Arizona. The same team is also set to open upcoming locations in Red Mountain and Gilmore later in the year.

The new scoop shop will offer 48 rotating flavors, catering services, and convenient pickup and delivery through DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Postmates.
